Request from Management - NHL & AHL

Going forward there will be stricter enforcement of the game start time rule - players must appear online and be getting ready to start @ 8:45 & 9:45 at the latest for their 9 & 10 o'clock games. Also what I would like to have happen is when possible, that both NHL and AHL lines have a scrim game before they play. This should only be done before the 9 o'clock game as most often people have doubleheaders and can't do a second practice game. Any practice with people on your team is encouraged outside of this time as well.
Teams can now declare a forfeit win at exactly 10:01 without proper notice (ie. pregame msg saying "we still need 1 player") and get away with it. If the opposing team doesn't communicate with anyone and they don't have 6 players in the lobby @ gametime, it is a forfeit. We all need to be prepared and ready to avoid this happening to Atlanta or Chicago.
Also the league is recommending we post additional people in our lines in case someone needs to be replaced. Not being ready for scheduled games will cause one of these replacement players to take your spot and you will be moved to another time and game. So for example, you say you're avaible Mon, Tues, and Wed but get scheduled for 2 games Mon and 1 Tues you would be subs for the other game on Tues and both on Wednesday. See the lines thread for info. There is still the 3 game max per week rule for the NHL, so keep track of when you play.
